I managed to do it in the end by putting the BIOS files and ATiFlash on to a USB stick, and booting from the CD, and then changing drive to the USB stick, which DOS was assuming was my C: drive. I then flashed both cards....and the BIOS works like a dream! Neither card gets hotter than 65c under load at stock clocks. I only wish ATi had actually tested these cards before they let them on the market.

I usually screw this up for some reason...
