Default Strange prime95 result.

I've been doing a prime95 torture test, and it came up with some slightly strange readings. I started the test at 8.30 yesterday morning, and it ran until 1400 today....... so it ran for 31.5 hours, when I stopped it today, however, it said the test only ran for 25.5 hours.

Has anyone else had prime95 do this? Theres no possible way it could have been started 25 hours earlier, because I was at work at the time and the house was empty.

I use Prime95, and have not had any issues with it. That does not mean that no one else has though. Could the problem be with your system clock?

Aye, its weird. I'm a big prime95 fan and have never had any problems with it. (this itself isn't a problem, just an oddity). I don't think it's to do with the system clock. Its always accurate in the bios and mbm5 shows the battery @ 2.94 constantly so thats all seems to be working fine.
The best thing I can think of is that prime95 is loosing time like the windows clock used to. I think it might have been changed, but I windows 98 used to check the cmos clock on bootup, and then time itself. If you ran your system on full load a lot the windows clock would run slower than its supposed to so it'd loose a few minutes/hours over the course of the day.
I'm not sure how it does things, but If prime95 only checks the system clock once and then times itself, it'd make sence because I was using guitar programs last night while prime95 was still running and encoded a bunch of mp3's.
lol, it can't be a stability issue if I'm passing for that long tho
