Playing with 3DMark01 at work!

I work in Computer Retail and was really bored at work, so I installed 3DMark01 on a few systems and got some scores. I then went home and ran the test on my PC, here's what I found...

Compaq SR5210NX
Celeron 420, 1GB RAM, Intel 950 Graphics
Score = 3471

HP A8200N
AMD Athlon 6000+, 3GB RAM, GeForce 6150
Score = 4614???:think:

HP Elite M9040N
Intel Quad Q6600, 3GB RAM, GeForce 8400GS
Score = 15,048

My System:
AMD Athlon 6000+, 2GB RAM, 8800GTS 640MB
Score = 37, 694

Is all that difference because of the 8800GTS? I thought that the CPU was measured in that mix too. That's like....Wow!

It is, but 3DMark (as the name would suggest...) is a 3D benchmarking tool, hence the massive difference between intergrated graphics and a current series nVidia card...

It's so great to feel like you have a better rig than someone (enthusiast graphics cards make me go o.O at the price)

Oh, wait, it's beating a HP. I feel guilty, like if I went to a primary school and tipped over the special-ed kids.

You should test you 8800 with that Q6600 then you'd see some proper 01 numbers,
