Seems like a good idea to bring to some forums with less users. too bad its only the top 40...

If I can find a quality air cooler that will fit my 7900GT AND my mobo, I will be all over it.
Tricky part is finding that cooler due to component placement on the mobo.
I can't really afford to go with water right now until I get a few things taken care of with my car.

Wow.. sounds like a fun event. PCA should do very well in the competition. I would join in on the OC'ing fun, but I my OC Season is done for the year. It is now time for my Case Modding season

Yeah, I should be up for this. I've got two pretty high-end benchable machines if need be.

Well, the B team we can take, being that the few of us with conroes, aren't benching for our team. Shame necros E4300 isn't the best OCer in the world, that would help us out.
As for me, anybody got a 939 expert that that they are willing to sell? Mines dead in that case i could get a nice 8600GT and play along alot better. As for the PI and non graaphic tests, we should do pretty good.

Well, I am willing, but I don't think my scores are going to be that great until I get better cooling for the 7900gt. As I mentioned earlier it is rather difficult to find a quality air cooler that will fit both my card and the mobo at the same time.

Go for it 4x0n! What hardware do you have?

Nothing as fancy as a C2D rig, but I have an Opty 170, Crucial Ballistix 2 gig, DFI LanParty CFX-3200 and a Saphire X1900XT. With a BT (lapped) cooling the Opty.

Hey.. i have a DFI 939 back when I was OC'ing my 3800+ and FX60. I am not sure which version it was.. At this point, I have more AMD 939 mobo, than 939 cpu. So I can definietly sell you my DFI NF4 if you want it.

If I remember correctly.. this was the version that didn't have SLI natively. So all you had to do was a simple mod on the SB / NB and it became SLI. That is what I did. Not sure if that gives you any insight to the board it is.

You have to fill out the teams from A then B then C and so on..
we still have plenty of time, you guy's can do it.
