ps2 power problem

My ps2 (slim) appears to have a short in the power connection, if pressure is applied down on the connection the power comes on. how can i fix this ?

How long have you had this PS2?

My best bet is when you were moving it around, you hanked on the power cord a bit too much, causing the cables inside to frail. You could probably just fix it by saudering the wires.

Before tearing your PS2 apart I would also consider calling sony to see if they will cover the repair.

Or just take it back to walmart for a quick swap, they take everything back....lol
