I personally purchased a NA for my PS2 to play Socom II online. Other than that, I really don't get a chance to use it because most games have no online community for the PS2.

my brother-in-law recently bought the new slimline PS2 that has the network adapter in it. he has plenty of games that can be played online, MVP06 and NFL2K5 are his best ones..., but he refuses to play because...

He says "I'm just not into that..."

I think "He's too scared of getting his ass handed to him because he's used to putting the difficulty level on 0 and clobbering the computer 100-0, lol"

The Socom series is the only point, but some people just never got into the three games.

Console shooters just aren't my thing, really. Timesplitters and Halo 2 are the only ones I've ever really enjoyed playing -- unless you count the memorable moment of "Not Johnson! He was only a boy!" from Killzone.
