Finally Im getting as PS2

After being a PC gamer for a long long time ( and im planing o keep on playing on my PC) I finally had enough left over money to treat myself to a ps2, I bee wanting one since y saw videos of god of war and learning That black is also a ps2 game. SO here is a list of the games im planing to get.

Black
God of gar 1 & 2
Metal gear 3 subsistence.
Twisted metal: Black
Mercenaries
Socom3
Castlevania
and any armored core/gundam game (im a Huge Mecha Fan)...

so any other recommendations? im not into sports games at all, And guess Ill try a final fantasy game ( im sure ill get dirge of cerberus...)

So appreciate your recommendations...

Ratchet and Clank games are all awsome.

Don't get the gundam games, they are all crap... Even if you like giant mechs. Trust me, I love the gundam series' but that doesn't stop the games from sucking.

I really enjoyed the Kingdom Hearts games. It's a good beginners Japanese RPG.

Thanks for all the advice, im also thinkig of getting shadow of the colossus, and mercenaries. plus keepin up mi mecha side: robotech, battlecry. also there is a silver version sold over here is there any diferente than the black one apart from color?

One more question this is the version they are selling over here: 77001 is this the lattes one, is it any better/less buggy than previous ones?

Waffles hit the nail on the head with Ratchet and Clank (3 is the best) and NCX is also right in saying KH was good. If you are getting Shadows of the Colossus you should also check out Ico.

Well Im finally got it today, and I must say! ps2 rocks! I got these games: God of war 1&2, mercenaries, Black, Def Jam NY. Shadow Of Rome, Naruti Ultimate Ninja, 007 everithing or nothing, soul calibur 3, and mortal combat deadly alliance (this one came bundled with the Ps2).

Man GOW is so cool!! and so is black, however all these years as a PC gamer really got my gamepad skills down... is there a way to plug both my keyboard a mouse to the ps2?

PS (tomorrow im getting kindom heart 1&2 and shadow of the colossus.

Dude, party games, you need Guitar Hero and DDR. If you ever have a group of friends over and are just hanging out, these games are so much fun.

If you like racing or cars, Gran Turismo 3 and 4 are great games too.:angrygame

Wafflesomd Banned	Ratchet and Clank games are all awsome. Don't get the gundam games, they are all crap... Even if you like giant mechs. Trust me, I love the gundam series' but that doesn't stop the games from sucking.
