PS3 Preoders begin 10/10/06

For those that want to know...

EBGames/Gamestop will begin taking pre-orders for Sony's Playstation3 starting tomorrow at 10AM.

Stores are getting an allotment of either 8 or 16 units per store..., so make sure you get there EARLY to sign up. Each store is allowed two employees to pre-order as well....so, might as well knock that number down to 6 or 14...

You MUST put 100 dollars down in order to hold the pre-order.

Get there early so you can get a chance to get the PS3 before Christmas...if not...good luck...

Eh, these game systems are getting out of my financial reach as far as assigning a return value to entertainment.

That's why I'm looking more and more towards PC gaming rather than console gaming.

Sad.

Very true, but it is in a way kind of back wards too... I mean to keep up with the current games one must upgrade x amount of times. And that well requires $$$:weeping:

The only reason I'm thinking about getting a PS3 at this point is to sell it on Ebay...

The potential to reap 2 or 3 times the cost of the system is pretty great....

400,000 systems in the US...no systems in Europe until march...someone is going to pay a pretty penny for it...

Well, I didn't get one, my friend right in front of me got a reserve, so we'll probably split the profits. 4 of the people in line (2 got a reserve, 2 didn't [including me]) we're buying it as an investment, not to actually have...

Addendum: People have started selling emails to retail their ps3s. I hopped on this bandwagon

We were first in line, my ex came with me and got one and I got one. They will both be on ebay for sure!
