well i went out and bought it. its ok not exactly what i was expecting. i thought it would be similar as the PC version but actually its quite a bit different. although i doubt ill be glued to my chair playing it all weekend.

Not for sure about the PS2 platform, but you might want to drop a line to Spikeshot and Cpt. Planet about the PC platform. They run the server over here for BF2 and might be able to help you out from time to time with the game.
