Default Cross Flow..

I have a handful of SFF cases. And Ive got some time to kill. I got out a old Chenming 118 (Qpack clone). I have heard of people fitting full size ATX mobos in them but I think I have a different take.

Everyone says the PS is always in the way so Im putting it UNDER the mobo. I have a Pair of 7600 GS and the DFI Expert (stolen out of Ultra Blue, lol) A hand ful of younger people say get X1900s. But these 7600GS do 3DMark 05 over 9000. Thats pretty good for 2 video cards that use 32watts each and have no fans.

I have a Silverstone Strider 400 PS that has been good to me so in its gonna go.Minus its housing..

On my Ultra Blue comp one of the reasons for the near silence and great cooling was the tube that cooled the Video cards and chipset. So on this one I am gonna make it side to side (hence the name Cross Flow)

Also I am planning to mount the PS on the backside of the mobo (easier to install the mobo)

Now I am trying to figure out if its worth it to H2O or all AIR...

that case is designed to take m-atx motherboards... I can't see how a full sized one would ever fit. There are a few m-atx motherboards with SLI though so your in luck.

I am a "One of a kind " type of guy, lol. If you turn the mobo sideways it fits fine. I have done it before but what makes this really different is the PS BELOW the mobo. It frees up a lot of room. My speciality is case wiring, usually I solder it to the back of the mobos, lol goodbye RMA's. Also Raid0 has to fit..

As to another mobo, I recycle like crazy. So I always try to use what I have first. Besides its pretty hard to beat the DFI Expert mobo...

And thanks kipman for the link to the mod. It was a nice read. I especially liked the lettering in the top..
