Is there a fan behind that mesh on the front? That looks like a great spot to throw in a 120mm LED fan.
That case looks pretty nice for a freebie.

Well right off the bat you wanted alot of uv stuff so i would go with UV clear coat on the inside. Maybe moving those USB on the front and mount it to the top or cut a hole for them in the side maybe?

Custom blow holes an fangrills maybe also covered in uv clear coat? Throw an lcd on the side maybe i dunno throwing out ideas for you =)

Definitely cut out the restrictive fan grill on the back of the case. Replace is with something nice and shiny that allows for more hot air to be exhausted out the back.

Maybe a turbine mod on the front of the case with an LED fan.

Lightbulb Re: project unknown

Indeed, that restrictive fan grille on the back can be removed with a few 'strikes of a rotary tool...(dremel),
just get it out! An AC Ryan Blackfire UV Reactive LED fan should look great there (yes.. I like those..)..
As far as the fron goes... it doesn't look that restrictive... is that a fan filter in there? A fan like the one I
mentioned before would look nice in there as well..

Maybe a nice window in the side panel would look good because I really don't like those
holes & the fan mount as it is now....

Well, the old saying applies to any trade or craft: measure twice, cut once. Oh well.

Sorry you got hosed on the 120mm fan planning. The screen over it looks good, though. From my brainstorming, I see two options:
  • Roll with the 'boo-boo' and mount the 120mm fan by silicon/rubber straps as if hung like a bearskin rug on a wall and incorporate it into the overall look or theme of your mod goals so it doesn't look out of place. Cut out more metal from the case to give the fan some anti-vibration room as it hangs by the straps.
  • Cut out two identical pieces of aluminum or steel (give them clean edges) to sandwhich over the large cut in the case. Line them up and make cuts in them for the fun; but this time leave metal to drill the fan mounting holes.
Hope that helps.
