Post Project OrangeAMD

I'm Starting A new computer over the summer.
I got a new Amd 64 3000+ Socket 754 For 87$ off of eBay and now I'm building a Decent computer around that.
The Motherboard

The video card(s) Not sure If I can get the money for 2
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16814150130

The Ram
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16820227070

And I already have a 550w Antec PSU and a 20gig Maxtor HD to get me started intil I can buy a 250gig Sata Drive.
Im not sure of anything else right now, I'm going to buy the cheapest case I can find and mod the **** Out of it.
Being only 13 this is my second Computer for me to build. Be under the working age I can only get 45$ every 2 weeks for mowing lawns. Any comment or questions? Go ahead and ask me anything. Would Love it I could get a good place to buy decent Orange paint. Thanks

I would recommend getting some better RAM than that. From experience I can tell you that if it says "value series" in the title, then you probably won't be very happy with it.

Don't agree with the comment on "value" ram... I've got very good results from 2x 1gb sticks
of Kingston Value ram... stable as a rock!

As for orange paint...I've got very good results with MoTip/DupliColor paint... you can buy that any most
automotive stores... check our "painting section" for info on how to do this the right way & get that deep
gloss you've always admired...

im almost 100% sure that video card cant be sli'd. First off it doesnt say it anyone on the site and second it doesnt have the hook up on the top of the card. I would look into that if u r planning going sli. And taht ram is fine.

That graphics card can be used in SLi

this is the back of the card without the heatsink housing obscuring the view, it has the SLI connection at the top.
Good luck with your build killert

Why not get some faster ram for the same price since your board can support it?

I already got started on it, All the little ID things that show the HDD light I sanded off and the whole thing is very smooth. I change out the 3mm red LED to a 5mm Orange LED to match the theme. I'll post pics soon.

Today I Cut out to windows on each side of the case.
I also change the color of if, Now it's metallic Blue. I already started paints, Primer is dont and it has been wet sanded. The top piece has 2 coats of blue and has been wet sanded, planing for aleast 6 coats of blue for every panel and to wetsand with 1500grid between every two exept for the last coats that will be wetsanded with 2000grid.
