How about the top? Have a 45degree angle holder come up from the case.

Hmm instead of mounting it inside the case, make a holder for it. Cut the plexy a bit bigger than the screen, but on the bottom measure around 1inch. Then use a Propane Torch or Some other device to bend it. If you have something else (Electric is better) to bend the plexy, use that. I use this heater thing I got out of a grill cheese machine.

You can use the same technique if you mount it inside the case, well actually, it wont be inside the case..It will be sorta Portable still.

Small Magnets. or Velcro. That way you can have it on top of the computer or take it off and have it in front of you.

Go to ATI Control Panel, and right click the 2nd display. Click Enable. That should enable TV out

I would def. check the resolution and the refresh rate. I have an older 15" LCD that will act crazy if these are not set correctly. Hope that helps.

by the way, if you do mount it on the top, if i were you, i wouldn't use magnets...i dont let magnets get anywhere near my hdd...and velcro sounds more secure. Hopefully you get it figured out. Sounds pretty cool.
