| I like the HDD cage, is that just a single 80mm fan, or 92mm. I made a HDD cooler without a filter or cool face, it was dual 70mm P4 cooler fans the thin ones (10mm) they push a nice 40cfm each, one made by coolermaster and one by ultra. Brought my WD 250 SATA drive down from 40C to 31C which its a first gen SATA drive and gets crazy hot when under stress. It use to push 50C when i used it as primary with no fan. Its now in my array for my server with lots of cooling. | ||

| Looks fantastic T2, it's not often that someone does a mod incorporating components to match the color scheme. I'm doing the same thing with the "Modding on the Cheap" case, only I'm using black and blue. The hardest part is finding the components with the performance you need in the colors you want. For example, for my budget, the ATI X1800 XT and X1900 XT are the best-performing cards for that price range, but you can't get them in a black or blue PCB...oh well. At least my mobo, RAM and PSU are matching so far! It just takes a case mod to the next level when the components match the coloring. Dude, I just noticed...aren't you planning on painting those upper 5.25" bay caddies to match? | ||

| T2, looking at your airflow, it would seem possibly more logical (with the advantage of addressing the clearance issues of your PSU at the same time) to move your PSU up top, and put the 2 x 80mm fans beneath it, in between your CPU/HSF and the PSU. Re: the airflow, this would help exhaust the warm air near the CPU/HSF via the 2 x 80mm fans, and also result in cooler air entering the PSU's fans & heatsinks. You'd also have more room to twist & wrangle those PSU cables, and more room for that massive Zalman Fatal1ty heatsink. The added work you'd need to do to make an adapter plate to move up that PSU might be worth it for the extra space and improved appearance and better cooling...just a thought for your consideration. | ||
