What about some car door poppers. I promise if u put four of these things on the bottom it will go a couple of inches in the air. Or for lighter use, two in the front.

We could always make the thing float by making it into a hovercraft...Just use a spare leaf Blower or 2..Im sure it will float...But it will be loud as hell!

One...... Thats not even a powered solenoid...... Thats simply a spring loaded popper used to kick a door out when you use a solenoid to release your door latch....

Two...... The ideas here are getting out of hand..... I mean.... ok we want to pimp it out....but do we want to put something to jar a rig like this all over the place? concidering the paint that will be on it...... and the expensive hardware! ...... and a hovercraft...... ok...

The querky ideas were ok at the begining but its time for real "Logical" ideas to take their place in this project.....

Ok guys this is cool there are alot of interesting and innovative ideas coming from ya'll, but there a little off the wall. The flying and hoovercraft stuff is a little to far out of it. Lets channel that energy into thinking a little more conventially. Keep the ideas flowing more along the more simpler lines, we can do another PR in space project later if you want to.

I'm seeing backlighted feathers, 3D pimp-rig logo (like a necklace) maybe some printed? painted? vinyl? leopard skin, some hot wheels that it rolls on, dunno I need to figure which case we are actually using so I can start doodling. Waiting for the official call by MNPC. Then we can really start going. Maybe mirrored interior? or gold? has to be flambouyant looking. Purple metalflake with gold accessories? we need to do something really different. I also think this needs to be a full on set of hardware, meaning KB, Mouse, Monitor and PC. A whole "Pimp" Suite.
I really think we need to take our time and think this through really well. Get a bunch of ideas floating out there and actually start molding an idea.

BTW it would really be cool if we setup a chatroom somewhere. So we could bounce ideas in realtime. Have meetings so to say with the peeps who are involved and the peeps that want to be.

We could have everyone get up on MSN or AIM (I dont know if yahoo has it) and do a group convo. The problem is, some important people dont have either of these.

It would be good to setup a time for everyone to meet and discuss this, rather than, lets meet now.

Yeah I agree, set like a weekly meeting and whoever wants to pop in can. I think there is free chatroom software/sites for setting up temporary rooms and stuff. The problem with the MSN thing is not everyone uses those things. I think it might be more simple to just host a chatroom. Hell I might even be able to do it. If there is interest, maybe we can....

Its ALMOST like MIRC, you can set a password to get into rooms and such..you need java installed though.

The ideas being thrown around are all good - brainstorming's important on any creative endeavour - but I agree that everybody (including myself ) is getting a little bit carried away.

I think (carried away again - sorry!) that whoever does this case will most likely need to bear in mind that it really should be doing justice to the PR of old (after all it is a tribute - right?)

I'm not directing this at anybody AT ALL, but GK has done a heck of a lot for everybody here (you're here right - HE MADE HERE!) and I don't think that this tribute to his hard work should really be something to laugh at or mock. Do you?

...but that's just my 2 cents (worth half as much in US dollars)

that may be a little hard to pull off, but its the thought that counts. I agree with most of the above (hovercraft??) - PR tribute case, lets keep it that way. We should also stop spamming randomness until mnpctech can give us an update . - i can't wait !

the whole hydraulic idea was close but no cigar...
what this rig needs is bags... maybe a door window motor, and track unit, that will raise the pc off the ground to expose some pimped out 5" chrome casters.... then it can be "slammed", and lowered to the ground.

Extreme air/vapochill cooling. Take the motor off the leafblower extending the output shaft, to remove heat from the impeller, then vapochill input so that you can freeze the guts!

One word: Kegerator!

Since so many of Bill's mods have a car theme going, it got my mind thinking about what would be the ultimate PIMP ride. No, it's not a riced-out Honda...or even a blown hemi...no, a true PIMP needs no speed, cruising the boulevard in the ultimate in style and comfort...a Cadillac



So many great styling element choices, a great base for an automotive quality finish, chrome bling...think about what could be done with a watercooling rad and a chrome grill...
