| That really is top notch work. It's cool to see the results of such extensive labor!! The effort you have all put in is well worth it in my opinion...I'm sure the final pictures of the case are going to make me sh|t my pants in awe. This project just keeps on impressing me more and more as it unfolds. | ||

The only thing I dont like about the bezel is the hex head bolts, What about reversing it and using acorn nuts or something

| I tried Acorn nuts, but they didn't look good. I like the Industrial look of Stainless Steel Socket Heads more Kikboxes.com's owner Stu's new radiator and fan grills. Man, his designs are killer! See for yourself Page 1 Page 2 I painted it Grape. FYI: His grills are also avail at Xoxide! | ||

| Here goes to hoping I am posting in the right thread this time...LOL First I want to show my respect to all those involved in this project.... I know that this was a collaborative effort and it shows. I know that a lot of work went on behind the scenes before this thing landed in Bills hands...and my Kudos goes off to those people as well.... You all took someones old server tower and turned it into a one of a kind case worthy of representing the essence of this site and its members, staff, and the attitutde we all feel goes along with it. No better way to explain that in art through a case mod then what you have captured here... Bill and the rest of your team over at MNPC as well as Lokie, Twiz and Word over at DragonModz, have really created something thats one hell of a collaborative effort here.....My hats off to you all... And BA that keyboard looks PIMP!!! Do mine ![]() Im sure Gary is drooling like that kid on the christmas story when he found his BB gun...lets just hope he doesnt shoot his eye out...lol Major props to all of you .... BOWS!! But the best look for purple (as all should know.... at least the old timers) is still the '50 Merc chopped/dropped with DeSoto grille. ![]() | |||||||||||||||||||||||||

| Just my humble opinion... is there anything a bit more PIMP that could be done with the IO unit? Dont know if its just the photo but it just looks a bit... plain grey/beige? Doesnt seem to fit in with everything else... A lick of purple paint / polished aluminium face plate / something meshy would look a bit sexier and fit in the theme even better. Like i say - just my 0.02 Mark | ||

Hmm, I went back about 6 pages and couldn't find a pic of the I/O...can you repost it please?

| Ah ok, I thought you were referring to the mobo I/O plate...but yes, that looks like a stock dull aluminum color, either unpolished aluminum or the "faux-aluminum" paint that you often see those things painted with. I'm sure Bill hasn't overlooked that detail, but I'd either paint it purple or make a polished aluminum plate for it. Or how about painting the existing dull silver piece with purple to match the rest of the 5.25" bay cover, and fit a piece of polished diamond mesh grille, with holes cut out for the I/O ports, which would tie it in nicely with the meshed bay above? ![]() | ||

| Good eye dudes. I agree on the I/O face and I'm still debating about some options. I will keep you updated The bezel is nearing completion. Holy Hanna! It's the most uber sexy alum bezel I've ever seen. I'm proud to say I was behind it's creation. Power & Reset Switches | ||
