| The original details of this project can be found HERE. This is my second project and my first themed case so comments and ideas are welcome. As for the project here is the measurements for the case, plans, and theme for the case: Measurements Length: 19 1/4" Width: 21 5/8" Height: 18" Plans -Flat motherboard - both sides open down on hinges -flushmounted plexiglass front panel painted and etched -all custom drive bays - custom cut windows in top and sides and Door Theme: Industrial Brushed\Hammered metal paint Unchromed Diamond Plate Green Lights This case is quite large, slightly bigger than GK's Mountian Mods PR LE Case. I was in the process of cutting the window in the first side till I lost the screw for the shank that holds the cutoff wheels on my B&D RTX so now i have to get a new one, but enough words here are the pics. | ||

| Got my new shank for my RTX and 20 reinforced cutoff wheels, and got busy. Cut out the first window\side door and most of the top windows. I used about 24 disks and broke about 3-5. Then I attacked it with some files to smooth out my cuts. Changed my mind on the diamond plate gonna use angle aluminum instead saw it at the homedepot and liked the way it looked. HigHTecHReDNecK has graciously pitched in to help by sending me a MB tray and backpanel off of a scrap midtower ATX case he had laying around. So props for that. | ||

| Finished the cutouts for the top windows and almost finished the other side panel but I ran out of cutoff wheels again gon through about 45 now. Got some other mod supplys: 16 ft. of angled aluminum for accents 4 ft. of threaded rod, washers and capnuts, 6 ft. of 1\2" OD aluminum tubing, and a sheet of aluminum for the drive bays a rivet tool and some aluminum pop rivets for the I/O panel im expecting in a day or two Im also testing a paint I havent used yet its Krylon Rust Tough Hamm-R if the finish comes out the way the cap indicates then its perfect for this project I'll let you know if it works. | ||

Since you mentioned the windows... I think you should use white cathodes inside. I think it'll contribute to the industrial look, like flourescent lighting found in warehouses. | |||||||||||||||||||||||||

| Thanks for the idea I thought it over and decided to stick with green lighting like I originally planned. Started prepping for paint needs a little more time before I start painting in the mean time im gonna start on the drive cage and aluminum accents on the case. Stay Tuned!! | ||

| I was thinking the same thing Albedo. Warning or Caution or something like that. On the door window I was planning on etching Goliath vertical from top to bottom on the part over the drives. Waiting to get my check tomorrow so I can start getting some more supplies. | ||
