| Apex Master Tech Apprentice | hey guys been gone for awhile, now finally getting a chance to start my project. This is what I know so far... aspire x qpack x2 4200 - 4400 watercooled overclocked I am trying to figure out how to do the watercooling setup. Anybody watercool an qpack? I think I might want to have an external resevoir but I don't know where to put it....I think the external res. look better.. My colors will be pink, yellow, orange, red... I know that I could use a drive bay resevoir but like Isaid, looks are important. What suggestions do you guys have for the project? Know anybody who did an external resevoir in a x-qpack? pics of case: ![]() ![]() ![]() The case is well made. Aspire did a good job of packing and keeping windows from being scratched aswell. Once again, anybody know of anyone who did an external resevoir in a qpack? please post suggestions and comments | |

| i think you could probably build a external resevoir on the bottom of the case.. It would be cool if you build a housing for it so it looks like its part of the case.. add windows around the resvior so you can see inside.. then add some lights to iluminate the resevoir liquid.. Thats just my idea. | ||

| I like that case,Michigan PC i would love to build something like that to bring in my rig on the road so i could play some high graphic games , my laptop is restricted for doing any gamming. Plus it looks like it would be small enough to transport around easier to with having to take it in and out of my rig all the time. | ||

| The Qpacks can handle a water cooling setup I think easy, mount a 120mm rad on the back where there is allready mounting holes for the supplied 120mm fan. Use one of the small dd pump in your 5 1/2 bay. And use smaller(i know bad) tubing so its more flexible in a small case like that.. Of course if you think you can pull it off, use 1/2 tubing. I would also go for a sweet window each with LED lighting to make it pop out at you. Something that streches about all 3 windows! LATER | ||

Flexibility has nothing to do with it. Tygon is very ver hard to kink. Although if he wants to go with switftechs 5 1/4 bay res/ pump combo it will take up one of his 5 1/4 bays. Then he would just hafta mount the cpu block and mount the rad somewhere outside and make sure it got enough cool air going across it. | |||||||||||||||||||||||||
