Project: Evanescence.

I just got this case:

And for long I have been wanting to do something with one of my favorite bands, Evanescence

So I first I will pain an the interior black, even though I think I will skip putting a window on this one. I`ll go for a black and blue color scheme. maybe go for some etching on the front brezel...

Any Ideas..?

A Razotech Blizzard, I do hope they fixed the problems with that case. Humph, then again... that's why there's such things as a dremel tool, Jolt Ultra, some painted acrylic and profane enough commentary to make a Staff Sergeant cringe. Be sure replace the stock panel venting with dark blue acrylic, and add a 120mm blowhole to the top. I'd recommend Silverstone (FM82, FM121) for fans and paint them.

As far as the etch goes, perhaps a female one-winged seraph who is badly hurt would be appropriate for an Evanescence theme.

well i can say evanecance is my favorite band, althoy amy-lee is hot. i wana see what you can come up with but an etch on the front would definatly look great

The best advise i can think of for this case, and for you......Listen to better music, cause Evanessence sux! Hahahaha only in my opinion though, just rattlin your chain. Maybe some twin 120's up top would look good and also instead of just etching the plexi, have the etch on the plexi work its way off the plexi and on to the side panel or something....etched metal looks sweet. Sweeeet case......I have done many PC set-ups with that case.

Everything is vented (Sides and the Top)
I love the bands first album.......

first I'm going to take the case apart an paint the interior and the back panel black, Cut an 120mm blow hole on the back instead of the 80mm. also I'm thinking of Using that second Image that trasher posted and using a discarded side panel create a sing that I'll attach to te side of the case.. I wil not paint it but try An give it an metallic shiny finish (ideas about that?)... il post pics as soon as I have them

Im planing on starting this evening on the modding of the case ( by the way the case is a codegen briza not a Razotech Blizzard). I will start by cutting the back 80mm fan gril and by painting the whole interior black.. il post pics soon..

Oops. I did not realize there was more than one Mac-esque case. (Much less that Codegen made one)
But still, the thermal properties appear to be almost identical.
Lian Li can get away with a neutral airflow concept (V-series) because of the way the vents are designed and the internal design of the case.
Blizzard and probably Codegen aren't as fortunate with this design. (And neither was Lian Li with their 767 BTX)

I came home a bit early from work, so I got some work on the case... I took It apart an cot the grill from the 80mm fan on the back of the case. I sanded the whole back, and prime it. while I was waiting for the primer to dry, I peeled off the sticker from the PSU some of the glue stayed on the metal so I sanded it out, but I keep on sanding, an decided to also paint the psu, so I masked all, and off with the primer ,,, here is a pic...

PS.that was the first coat I already fix al the blank spots...
I'll update soon...

No I'm not a"chick".

I"ll go fo a Blue black theme like the fallen album color scheme, maybe add some white led fans here and ther... I won"t have a windows on this one however....

Since IÃƒÂ§v been having a slow week at the office i decided to move some os the mod worke here...

O got my dremel and strated cutting the evanescence Icon, you know that E thingy. that I will probably put on the front part of the case... use and old side panel... here is the pic after I sanded of the paint..

I want it to be silver... to contrast the black case... so Should I paint using a sliver chrome paint Or just polish the metal a leve it like that? My place i rather humid..and metals tend to rust.. so I think Ill paint it...

Any Ideas?

Once more it`s not a Razotech Blizzard Case it is a codegen Briza, I got it In my country (venezuela) for about 70 buck at change.... I have found this link so you see how much it is on the US...

mmaturen Apex Master Tech Apprentice	quick update... I came home a bit early from work, so I got some work on the case... I took It apart an cot the grill from the 80mm fan on the back of the case.
