Sucks that the window is already there, showing the cages. It would have been cool if you could've done a rectangular window from the power supply to the bottom, then over just almost to the cages. That would look cool.

You could still illuminate the hell out of it. Do a futuristic theme or something, put like four or five LEDs at the base of the front of the case. Also, be sure to sleeve the wires and get rid of that two-tone. Two-tone would be fine, if it didn't look so...already-painted-like-that-from-the-factory! How about doing the outside in silver, and the inside with red sleeving and red cathodes? I think that would look sweet.

One of the first thing on your agenda should be to rip out the guts, sleeve the PSU wires, put that tan thing (USB?) at the lowest PCI slot you can, and sleeve that, too.

Mod on!

Is that an NF-7 Motherboard?

It looks like you have the ram in single channel mode (Side by side, move the middle one to the outside)

Good Luck with your Project Duece!

Post plans so far

It is an An7. Still Abit though, for some reason i just love their boards. I was planning on going with alot of lighting but not many colors i just one nice looking light to hit the window. At first i had planned to buy some Molex connectors and resleeve the PSU and some black molex connectors to match the case. But now due to seeing the mad deal that www.xoxide.com has on those ultra PSU's i think i might just get 1 of those cause i love the way they look and they have way more power than the PSU i have (mine is 300 i believe) i would need a couple more wats for any lighting.

Last night SPl3001 suggested a theme like a caution symbol with yellow\black paintjob on the case that may look cool but I will have to work out the templates i would make and use.

I also want to remove the fan controller (cause i don't like it anymore) and the top burner cause it doesn't go along with the color of my case.

looks goo so far, but like sub said it sucks that the window shows the cages. it could also use some creative wire management.

Nothing to turn on, but using the two outer slots should enable dual channel.

It's been along time since I had my NF-7, but most boards will say "Dual Channel Enabled" if you watch closely during the first part of boot up.

You can also tell by looking at you Sandra memory test results.

(Dual Channel will often show 5-10% improvement over single channel in certain apps)

We did a pretty sweet job. You need to post a pic of the window when the silicone dries.

it is awesome only problem is that putting that side panel raises my temp alot seems i have to go buy another fan before i attach that one. I might buy a slot cooler and a vantec stealth 80mm for the back and move my led fan to the window. that may keep my case at an acceptable temp cause it went up to like 57 when i put that window on
