OK, So I have had this case for 10 months now, I messed up the front trying to add too many drives and widgets of different shapes, fubar'd the back cus I'm retarded (don't drink and mod!) It's been collecting dust untill I found an FX53 for 450 (cdn) bucks!! (please don't mention dual cores are 600, I'm in denial) So the wife almost left me for spending so much on something so small, but it has reignited the spark, and I will salvage this case and it will ROCK!
Heres what's going in, AMD 64 FX53, DFI NF4 UT (presently using Chaintech that I traded my DFI NF3 for but I can't stand it!), 2 x Leadtek 6600's 256 (already bought one cus it was all I could afford after the
CPU), two DVD burners, 36 GB raptor, 80 GB barracuda, 1GB XMS, enermax noisetaker, cooling will be a Zalman rez I picked up off ebay for 200, just waiting for it to be shipped (fingers crossed). So here is the box in current state

I want to set it up with the
PSU on the bottom this time, clean up the mess of brakets I have holding the drives in place, put the hard drives in the space where
PSU is now, align the io slots with the back of the case flush and put all of the wires and sensores and tubes behind the
mobo. (my wife is going to kill me). The only thing I'm having trouble wrapping my mind around it what to do with the zalman. Maybe attatch it to the back? Will it work sideways? then i could put it on the side like NOS, I'm definatly putting in a wireless toggle switch for the power. I also wonder if the zalman could be incorporated inside? i've never actually held one in my hand so I'm sure about dismantling and reducing the size, if not I at least want to paint it, Also I was thinking of redoing the front of the case like a CM Stacker, but that would mean a whole new front panel. Stainless maybe? Well any ideas or input iwould be great (just don't mention dual core!) I will post anything of interest that happens... including the divorce proceedings
.
