Well, any pc that can handle doom3 would be able to smoke doom1&2. Having said that, depending on how old that older computer is, it may or may not be able to play doom3 well. Memory - as much as the Operating System will handle, the video card should be as good as the board will handle. If you need a baseline,I play Far Cry on a Sapphire Raedon 9550 (AGP 8x) with good framerates w/most of the bells-n-whistles turned on. I think I paid $70 for it last year. Doom 3 is probably going to put as much of a strain on the vid card as Far Cry would. If the board will handle it, I can recommend any Raedon 9550 or higher vid card.

You have a son? Could have sworn in another thread that you said you were in summer school, and around 12ish. Is this another attempt to boost your post count, and waste members time?

His profile says he'll be 18 in September. If he does have a son I guess they forgot to teach him about STD's in summer school. Or maybe he wasn't listening in health class and that's why he's in summer school.

LOL! Well considering he is in summer school he was obviously doing other things besides his school work during the year. Which he seems to be repeating during summer school.

That's ok, because there will come a day when the regret sets in about not having paid attention or applied one's self more in school.... believe it!

A little advice for the wary: Don't pretend to be something you aren't, because as this has proven, you will get busted. Foe knows all.
