I've decided that it's time to start painting and cutting on my case. I'm not going to do anything very unique but hopefully by then end I'll have this case looking slick. The victim this time will be a Foxconn Super Case TU150.


Nothing that Impressive at the momentÂ… First thing I have planned is to take some photos of the actual case and then gut my current hardware. Then I'll deal with paint, case will still black although it'll get a high gloss. The inside will be metal cast blue.

sounds like a plan.. Are you going to cutt any additonal fan holes. or do any cable sleaving? If so I would suggest UV reactive equipment because it would look really sweet with a metalic blue interiror..

I've got a white CCFL right now. I'll be getting an X-connect PSU or something equivalent. I also have plans for a window, but it will be small. When I get pictures taken later tonight if all goes well they will explain why the window will be small. I'm going to be cutting a 92mm blowhole in the top and using a mnpctech blowhole kit.

ADD: I have thought about going to UV Right now its hard to make up my mind. I have a blue, white and UV CCFL all on my desk right now

Gosh it happened before the first update SET BACK #1.

I discovered a gash in one of my tires and a tread seperation in the other . Wile I was inspecting those I'll be damned if I didn't find a tear in my 20 year old CV boot. My dad and I believe that this is due to the many gravel roads I travel. So needless to say July 15th AKA payday is no where near close enough. But with two bad tires I'm stuck at home and I can't make money.

ADD: Also have a parking ticket to argue... College police

ADD2: I got 2 new tires for about 44 bucks a pop so i'm back on the road. The CV joint still has some miles left in it (as long as i keep it lubed) I'm going to try to put a new boot on it but i bet the trans-axle will need to be replaced.

Alright, I took some picture of how my case is currently set up. No cutting and the stock paint job. I Went ahead and took some pictures of the Paint and some other things I have already purchaced.



I'm trying to keep the metal around the fan and the other hole at the bottom intact. So that limits my options as far as how big the window will be. How ever I have found the A top window kit is almost the perfect width to fit in the empty space.






I was at Wal-Mart with binky last night when I found these. Bink jump started my mind asking "I wonder if you could use these." Well I did connect a Sentinal as a guard or something simmaler so I thought about a Police them. Let me know your thoughts on that.



I donÂ’t have much to report. Picture let you have some idea of what exactly IÂ’m starting with. I purchased all the paint IÂ’m going to use. I'm going to break down the case tonight and sand it and clean it then shoot the frame of the case Blue and the panels will get a coat of base. Its looking like this wonÂ’t take too long. ItÂ’s a pretty basic mod but I like things straight forward and clean.

Police theme so so. You could put a window in there with a killer etch that said Police and was frosted. It would be pretty hard to pull off without a great paintjob. From the looks of the mod I was thinking more of a stealth style. Just my opinion.

Yeah I don't think I could pull off the paint job my self and I can't afford to have some do it for me. I'm going to find some way to use those lights though.

I've pretty much ditched the police theam. Like Post said I'd need an amazing paint job to pull it off.

In a shower of sparks the first real day of modding begins.... Ok so I was just playing with my bench grinder before I did any true work.





Dark clouds have been an all too familiar sight though out this project. How ever over the weekend I've been able to sand the case parts, shoot primer and the black. Now I'm sanding all that down and starting to shoot clear coat.

I think I've pretty much dumped the police idea. Trying to get a high gloss finish is harder then I expected in the extreamly high humidity we've been having recently. So I think just trying to get the black finish to turn out well is going to be a challenge.

On the case window I'm going to try to use a limo or mirror window tint and then have enough white ccfls inside the case that when you turn the on the window becoms transparent. I'm not exactly sure how well this will work, but i figure it's worth a try. If the window tint does work it should add to the the stelthy look of this case.

Looking at the large amount of black on this case I've been trying to find ways to get stainless steel or aluminum involved in some way. I'm going to paint the mesh on the case door a silver and i've thought about cutting out the fan grills in the found of my case and replacing it with an aftermarket automotive grill. I'm not sure how much since that makes, but i think if I could cut everything smooth it would be worth it.

A window with some chrome or black modding mesh on the inside would look sweet. You could even give it the affect that something smashed through it. Just a though. A sweet effect would be flashing ccfls, if you could get them to flash on and off, like the bulbs were dying. Would be very cool. You could do it with a sound reactive module, 5 bucks on xoxide.

the mod's coming along great. i thought that idea for mading the lights flicker was really cool. i may have to do that on my new mod? anyway the case looks awesome. good work.
