hey guys hows it goin

this will be my new main rig and gaming pc. I do not plan on modding it too much. I want to clean look.

case---------chieftec ultra glossy silver dragon with window
cooling----------dangerden watercooling
cpu------------thinkin athlon 64 3700 san diego
graphics-----------BFG 6800gt
extras---------el wire, pink uv reactive water die, pink and light green leds

I think in the end it will look well - polished

suggestions......?

make sure you sleeve your wires and study up on how to hide them effectively if your going to go for the clean look.

Well, good luck on the project. You're not planning on cutting that puppy up?

I second what Sparky said, definitely check some guides and stuff on wire sleeving, and study examples of how to re-route wires and such behind the motherboard tray and check galleries and other rigs to see some fine examples.

Be sure to put some pictures up as your project progresses.

For all your LED needs Dragonmodz is sure to please. (They dont have pink but they do have purple, blue, white, green, uv, red, orange. I think the white could be wrapped in pink cellophane to make it pink.)

i dont have an amd, but i have a great DFI mobo for my p4


for the avatar, you were in the right spot, just scroll all the way down, just remember it has to be smaller than 40kb

You might want to look in to SLI. You know if someday you just happen to want to run 2 6800GTs

I have heard that SLI boards can have trouble with popping sounds?? Not sure cause I haven't run one. This might only be a issue when running a sound card. If you went with the MSI neo-4 platinum you get SLI and Sound blaster live integrated chip for sound. I was realy towards MSI's boards for awhile, but the inexspensiveness of Chaintech won me over. I am not much of a gamer though I am more into music production. It would be cool if you could wire in such a way that it looked like it was all wireless. maybe one of those beauty plate type things, just placed in a way that it fit behind the mother board. Then where the wires came up to connect you could sleeve real well so they are more low profile.
