Hmmm, nuvistor, another electronic term put up on the dusty shelf of history. Figured it would make a nice name for a mod

definition

The two schematic symbols are for a PNP Transistor on the left side and a triode vacuum tube on the right.

The case was made from an old Gateway case, the front bezel was bent by hand out of sheet steel-that was a pain in the ass to do!

Anyway, this is nowhere near to finished, just the basic shape, now come the details!

So any ideas/opinions would be great, I'm trying to get at an industrial / electronic / vintage theme going. If you have any thoughts on what can be added please do chime in!

I like it, it's different. The side window, I really like the mesh with the logo design. Are you doing something with the paint? It seems a bit dull.

Yes, the paint will be different. I might make just the red be mirror finish and the rest flat, not usre though.

I'm thinking of stenciling some warning labels in a few places.

It's bold and simple. I kinda like it. I agree that a more glossy paint-job would kick it up a bit.
