| | closet PC Yeah, I'm crazy, I'm insane, and I am proud of it. Anyway... I'm about to start my (VERY MUCH) custom, probably original, idea of cooling a PC during the summer with an open air conditioning duct. Best of all, it's nice and private in my (somewhat small) walk in closet. Well, I think it's an idea, but the only problem is what on earth am I going to do during the winter. I would have to install like a moble air conditioner in that closet for 365 day a year A/C cooling. I don't think that will work that well, but I need some input. I can't really afford to do anything fancy (or, well, fast for that matter) with the computer. It would probably be running an old, old, pentium 2 350Mhz processor untill I can get a decent price on an Athlon XP (lol, less than $150 for both the processor and motherboard) anyway... I would house it in a plastic file crate so I can have the Air duct "hooked up" to it. Anyway, I need input, and many an idea of what I would do in winter. it can get pretty cold around here in winter, so the heater will be on a lot for several months. just an idea... lol, Thx. -madx |
