have it refilled and take some time to think it over? naturally you'll have to empty it again first, but i don't think you'd complain too much about that

ok, an honest suggestion would depend on your metalworking abilities. if you have the tools and knoledge, i would say cut it in half vertically (assuming it's standing up) throw a pair of hinges on the inside on one of the longer sides. dry it out real well. weld in a plate on the what are now the top and bottom halves (the two long halves are laying on top of each other so as to look whole again, hingees away from you) use the bottom to store the computer and the top to store a flat panel monitor and speakers. should also have enough rom to make a storage compartment for a keyboard/mouse. i would make all connections on the inside of the case so that when closed it will look perfectly normal (other then a cut down the side).

might not be the best idea, but probably the easiest??

now you know what would be the uber beer keg mod.....is if you could your computer in it, and be able to still serve beer out of it.......if you could make an air tight sealed enclosure on the inside, you could mount everything to it, and then im sure this is gonna ruin the whole presurized aspect of the keg, but you could just poor regular beer in and seal it up and then use a tap from like a bar and just poor it out?

i dunno, kinda the beer version of the caffeine machine?

EDIT : actually to maybe take mist's idea one step farther.....cut the keg in half, seal up the bottom half nice and tight (why? iget to that in a sec), make a circular IO sheild for a motherboard, the same size ans you would need to seal up top portion.....mount your motherboard to it....do all the cutting you need to the top portion for drives whatnot......maybe rip apart a crummy tower and mount the mounting hardware from it inside the keg, then just make drive holes in the front?

take the bottom half before you seal it up air tight, and install some sort of spout or a way to pour something into it.....that or make a way to hook a carb tank up to it......preferable use the end for the bottom that is already designed to hook up the beer dispenser to it.....now, you can seal it up, and the bottom half is a full functioning beer keg....top is a full functioning pimp rig?

MMMmm..beer and computers. That is a awesome combination. I would cut the keg in half vertically, then install all your components into one side, plexi glass over it, then attach the keyboard to the plexi, giving you a nice mousing surface as well.
Then, Install a nice 15" LCD into the other half section, hinge it and your done.

Speaking of Beer and PC's

I was at home depot this morning and saw they had a Kegorator on sail for only 350, im really tempted to pic it up

Of course we would have to find a way to stick a PC in it

Kiken, I like how you think.

Scape, I saw those at Home Depot last Saturday as well. It just didn't cross my mind about installing a comp in it.

A water cooled SFF would kick ass in that thing.

A flat panal with a DVD CDROM playing endless MPEG loops of Cheer Leader commercials, the Doritoes chick, etc.....

Wait ! X the flat panel, Go 42" Plasma

Hehehe, scape said "they had a Kegorator on -sail- "

Too bad you couldn't cool a rig with beer...would make an awesome submerged system and that kegorator would be nice...be like a giant refridgerated reservoir for a water-cooled rig! Cutting it in half might be cool but damn, kinda big. Could also cut the top off (as in, just the flat piece that seals the top as opposed to cutting the outer diameter of the keg) and suspend the components inside, whilst adding a window in the middle, but I guess that all depends on if you can weld, cut metal and all that.

A keg PC...wouldn't that be great to bring to LAN parties?
