Here is a project I have been working on...

Parts: Beantech clear acrylic case, Asus A7N8X (nforce2) motherboard, Athlon XP 2400+, 1 GB DDR400 RAM, Dynatron Copper HSF, Gainward GF4 Ti4200 128MB Video Card, Plextor 16/10/40 CDRW, 30GB Maxtor ATA100 7200RPM hard drive in a Beantech Data Castle enclosure, Antec 400W PSU, 3 quad blue led fans, 4 blue cold cathodes, chrome frozencpu fan grills...

I still have blue elwire and appliques to put on it. The object of the case is to REALLY stand out at lanparties... =]

The cathodes and elwire will be switchable by push buttons mounted on the rear of the case. I really like the way the position of the cathods turned out. They are slanted back and outward. They BARELY fit like that and I actually broke one of them while attempting to find a good placement. More pics later...

I am still waiting on those Shuttle FS51 mobos to become available at a decent price so I can build my small form factor LAN rig in acrylic. Current price is $170 and I have only found one reseller for them.

Of course, if the mobo from the Shuttle SS41G becomes available first, I'll go AMD instead of Intel and save some cash.

What are some other blue lit things that can go in case? Suggestions?

The only thing I can think of right now are the Rounded IDE cables with EL wire.

how about a mod for the cd rom with acrylic. not just you glitter but in genral for people with clear acrylic cases.Has that been done yet?
High power'd blue leds you can put just about anywhere in the case.

You could get some illuminated switches
I got 4 for my case, and two for my car.

A pyramid lighted fan controller in blue would look trick. Neon blue mesh sleeving on the fan and cathode wires would look good as well.

GK...custom make your Pull out drive bay and drive out of clear plexi...or have a plastic shop do it for you...that would be a WINNER

Oh! Get some blue window tint for panels! Otherwise, you want something blue? There is that latest review on that vantec thingy with the four knobs (I don't know why I all of a sudden can't remember the name of it).

Guess they won't need any lights in the room with that thing going! Don't think I could stand that much light coming from my computer...because there's nothing shielding the direct light from the LED's and CC's.

Time to bust out the shades brotha

well, the obvious answer to what else blue would be a neg blue LCD...
