Pink Floyd-Dark side of the Mod

Well I don' know if the mod competition is going to get off the ground soon enough for me, so I'm starting my project because I'm too excited about it.
It's modeled after Pink Floyds Dark side of the moon(one of my favorites). Its going to be clear Acrylic with black and mirrored highlights to mimic the cover of dark side.
Also some lights to mimic the spliting of light. And the blue is the protective laminate so it doesn't get scrathed while modding.

Edit: Oh yea the base of the Prism is 24"x24"x24" with a peak of 24", so if you want you can use Pathgorithms Therom and find out the sides

The ruler didn't show up well, so I put it next to my Koolance case which is about server size, 23" tall 9" wide 20"deep. So you sholud get the I dea the base is quite large with a peak at the top of 24" form the ground.

Yea Luna I do play, and thats a good eye! Thats my Strat that I love to jam out on..... Whoa were alike .....Trippy. To bad you don't live closer.

So much Pink Floyd going on around here. I start my days working usually with Dark Side as its my favorite Floyd album. I'm really looking foward to seeing this mod in action. Good Luck.

Thanks REX, I'm am so excited about it, I bought a Bench disk sander today(and no not from Harbor freight) to get the angles to match. My next purchase will be a white light laser, if I can get one cheap enough. And I will be going with my tied and trusted AMD/ASUS combo with some danger den W/C. I don't want to show that yet, cause I got to keep some things up my sleeve, ya Know?

Oh and luna what do you play?

Is your disk sander green and also has a belt sander, I probably have the same one.

What do I play? type of guitar or music? I play an american standard strat, Oscar Schmidt Delta King, Epiphone Tele clone, Epiphone acoustic and a Brownsville flametop something. I also play drums. Just about every kind of music but country.

You know that I am looking forward to this one but just one little thing....... the Pythagorean Theorem only works for right triangles.

GodFoot, you can still use it. You just gotta do a little creative math. Think around corners and such.

that would require splitting the triangles into smaller ones, creating more math.:

An isosceles triangle is a triangle with (at least) two equal sides. In the figure above, the two equal sides have length b and the remaining side has length a. This property is equivalent to two angles of the triangle being equal.

I thought of becoming a teacher, I seem to be able to remember obscure formulae like that one but it was much easier to copy and paste than to experiment with alt key codes to get the desired mathematical characters.
Who says what you learn on PR has to be about computers?

See... I knew you probably already knew how to do that GodFoot. I'm pretty sure all his triangles are Equilateral though. It's really hard to tell from the pic though because of the angle.

They cannot be equilateral with him only using 3 sides, if he used 4 then yeah.
I am too tired to attempt the math currently but it is harder than you think because you have to extend the work to do the math....... if that makes sense.

After my Wall theme I could change the theme on the Monster case from a Pimped Rig to..... Welcome to The Machine.
Hmmmmm, got me thinking now...... or maybe put 4 smokestacks on it and turn it into the Battersea Power Station and float an anatomically correct pig over it.
Or turn it into the cave where Several Species can groove with their picts.
Oh, the possibilities are endless......... decisions.

The power factory would be cool, but i dont know how you would represent several small species of furry animals grooving in a cave with pict?
