It is an isa card it says m-systems on it. And what it is used for? thanx i am new here newbee needing some help than for your time.

it has some wrinting on it - pc-fd-1
c-3.00

From what I can tell there is no cable connectors at the back of the card. You can see the mounting bracket doesnt have any holes in it......hmmm. Guessing some kind of expansion card of some sort but I really dont have a clue.

Well, since it has no rear connections, I would have to guess it would be an old FDD or HDD controller card. It is really tough to tell with the poor quality pics.

Haven't seen a floppy controller like that in years... ancient, max 512KB, 5.25" disks... If I'm interpreting those pictures correctly.

it will boot to a c:\ prompt

it will not boot if there is a hard drive connected

i can write and erase this tiny drive like 2 or 3 megs
