Well, I'm wondering...

Should I put a top window in my Lian-Li case?

We all know what I can do, and I even have the 1/4" plexi here to do it with (which would mean another awesome 3D etch) but would it look good? I'm contemplating putting in the windowed CD-ROM from FlameProof, or Metalcasting a design onto the CoolDrive4, but I will NOT window my 708a.

I'm thinking a squarish window, with a cross and Kaballah symbols, or a version of the Sephirothic tree (Google it) , and text like I did my other window. Which, BTW, now only dsplays the text when the strobe hits. I like that.

So, your turn to vote and decide what goes in this project!

can you post a pic of the case so far so I can get a better idea of where it's heading?

Edit: Never mind, it's the Seraph's Pinion case.

Do it. I want to see some more labor intensive work, uh, "intricate details."

I don't like top windows maself. But if it's nicely done it can be okay. On a LI-Lian I'd thing that no window and a cool handle would be best and then make a window on the front. Also redo all the switches and front bezel. I saw an incredible LiLian Project once that was cut short due to lack of funds but he basically redid the whole front bezel making his own rheobus'i and redid the whole front bezel so that it was a solid piece with an intake and a slot for his slot-dvd and a stealthy-mechanism for his burner. He made all his switches/knobs/buttons out of acrylic and put little circular/rectangular pieces of aluminum on the fronts and then lit the acrylic from behind. It was an incredible case.

If you do a top window, you get better cooling options in my opinion---> you can add like a top exhaust fan (blowhole sounds odd). that's the reason why I made a top window with exhaust fan

How does adding a fan up top rely on having a window installed?

A well planned window could look nice Kayin, but one of the main things to consider is will what will be seen worth seeing.

I just had a top window with a fan mounting option, seemed like the right thing to do, because just a fan is kind of, well, not enough for me
