Ya ya ya, flame me for it all ya want, I'm going old skool for the mod competition. The case I am using is the same rig from my Storm Warning mod, but I have decided to save that theme for another case, my CAD rig.

That is a summarized version of the project timeline. Since then I have added a 3dfx Window decal and modded huge Pentium 3 coolers on the Voodoo 5, here is a Voodoo 5 pic:

For now the main thing is to prep the case for paint, which will be insane when finished, I have some extremely high-res close-ups of ALL revisions of the Voodoo 6000, yes even Rev. 3700, I also have some intake fan grille mods planned, need to go to Home Depot and get some Dremel wheels

What colors are you planning on painting that?

I was thinking something kinda dark and Voodooish, like black and dark green. Somehow I want to intergrate a 6000 into the paint but right now I'm still deciding what.

I picked up this neat nifty little tool, turns your spray can into a spray gun, cost like 2 buxx0rz at Home Depot.

nice work on the window mod, but isn't that a bit backwards, installing the window befire painting?

Voodoo5? Will that even pass 3dMark benches? I love my old Voodoo3.. to bad they aren't still making cards.

Yes, it will bench in 3DMark99 Max, and j00se I prefer window then paint, because I can remove the window no problem, if I paint then window I have to worry about scratching the paint with Dremel wheels and god knows what else. Paint is the absolute LAST thing I do.

Oh yea almost forgot, it will have a res, a HUGE 6-bay res, to dispense Bawls at LANs. Need to find a way to cool it...

I was thinking more along the lines of

1. cut
2. paint
3. install window

Dispense Bawls? That would be cool Dual purpose cooling.. cool WC setup and drinks
