| I present my rig and the project rig I just built to give away to a close friend of mine, some may remember the original thread in Anything Goes a long time ago with no pics, well here are the pics. My rig's specs are in my sig, and both these rigs need some touch ups in the interior dept. Mine: ![]() ![]() ![]() untitled project: ![]() ![]() not the most impressive but I'm most pleased with the project rig. | ||

| Sorry, didn't see the thread. Anyway, I want to ask about your rig and what kind of heatsink you used. Is that ducting on there to angle that white fan? Seems like to would have been too crowded so that was a good fix. Both look really good except (recoiling in horror...) is that a flat cable I see in there??? Just kidding. Still works but if you're going to go through the trouble of using a rig with a side window, I'd replace it. I'll give you a thumbs up because I'm pretty new at this and my only mod was hard as hell, in my own opinion. Rob | ||

| Well the project one is a premod with dremeled out fan mounts and bottom portion of front bezel (where the black painted modders mesh is), besides that I don't like to put a lot of work in since it looks good already as is and it works ![]() Rob, the Thermaltake ducting mod is designed to give more coverage of air being blown across the heatsink (a Silentboost K7 sink) and also can be used for getting closer to the intake fans on the Silenttower in the project rig. I think I saw like a 2C temp drop with it, I'm not sure. I also swapped fans between the 2 coolers hehe but they are both tight fits with the sidepanel on there is VERY little space between the heatsink or fan and the sidepanel in both rigs =P As for the ribbon cable I have a 40GB Deathstar serving as a temp. backup drive and I didn't have any other rounded IDE cables around to use in it =P I'll post in a little bit pics of my brother's rig that I built in an Antec Super Lanboy. | ||

LOL...nicely said. i'm sorry i didn't post the first time around (not on purpose, just missed the thread). premod or not, i like what you've done with the rigs. what matters is that you put the effort into it, and i think that your effort payed off. your rigs look nice. i especially like the green sleeving with the blue lighting...it looks good. | |||||||||||||||||||||||||

| Major update! New hardware for the project rig and announce mine is currently a POS! =P Project Rig is getting: *AXP 2500+ Barton unlocked *256x2 GeIL Ultra-X *Shuttle AN35N Ultra *500W X-connect *SI-97 w/ 92mm TT Silentcat http://andrevas.sbcars.net/images/comp/beast_axp2.jpg hehe. Does anyone know of any custom BIOSes for the AN35? That would help a lot, and if anyone can tell me how difficult the volt mod for the board is (I know how to do it just haven't done anything like it before) that would be cool too.
