| Well, i got all my stuff from newegg today, gonna begin assebling tonight, hopefully have windows installed, dual monitors set up (although i wont have my monitor for a while...) and RAID figured out by the end of the night. Unfortunatly, my stuff from frozencpu hasn't come yet. It was supposed to come yesterday, but UPS "Re-Scheduled" my delivery time for thursday *shakes fist at UPS*. So in the mean time i'm without a PSU or fans (or KB or lights, but thats besides the point...), so i'm borrowing my friends PSU (his athlon64 is going back to newegg as we speak) and running with the side panel off until thursday night when everythings supposed to arrive. Heres a pic of what came from newegg today. ![]() | ||

| Woohoo, nice stuff. Looks like it will be a good comptuer when its finally done. Just a small note from a fellow All-In-Wonder user to another, I tried doing the dual monitor thing with it as well. I bought a PCI 9000, but TV will not work with multipule monitors running. Its a known issue, and they havent fixed it to my current knowledge, which sucks it completely. I could get it running every once and a while, but it still doesnt let you transfer it to the second monitor. | ||

"Gaming Bomb" The chenbro xspider case. Ok, been workin on the for a few hours, thankfully all the basic hardware works. Only issue... SATA is a bitch. Trying to get drivers that'll install durring the XP instalation process. Should be able to get the other two drives in RAID tonight.

| And i only had to install windows 3 times... Kept trying to setup RAID in the bios and it kept deleting the windows partition, only real issue tonight besides the bad floppy. Everythings up and running and formatted, C:/ 69Gb, D:/478Gb. I just have to install my soundcard, second vidcard and all the drivers for those and my primary vid card. Ok, quick question before i dump 300GB of stuff onto it... Does SATA have the 137GB LBA deal? Or is that problem with only IDE? Oh, and Dimazz, nice mockup, i was thinking a window very much like that, cut very close to the edge. Not a fan of messing with my front bezel too much though, i liked it enough as is to overlook the retarded stock window. I'm not gonna be doing too much hardcore modding to this, it really doesnt need it, just a very clean, professional look, everything sleeved and matching near as i can. | ||

| Ok, mid afternoon, everythings running smoothly except for some video issues, cant get tv workin etc, but yeah, i'm sure i'll get it all figured out. Everythings installed and working (i think) i just need to haul it up here and hook it up to this monitor and the lan and get to installing service packs and hotfixes and all the software i need. Some pics... The mess that has become my dining room table, was even worse last night before i cleard off all the static bags and packaging. Setup on the dining room window seat, notice the oldschool peripherals. Model M keyboard and a 15" CRT that doesn't deserve to be connected to my 9800... Also the cooling, no case fans untill tomorrow![]() Shot of what i have installing in the front. Those Zalman HD coolers are kinda a pain in the ass to install with rails, but they are keeping the drives cool. And wheres fedex with my GPU cooler?!? | ||

Nope, the classic cubicle bludgeon, the IBM Model M Keyboard. And to everyone commenting about my desk, lol, I said, its just the dining room window seat. I'll be relocating this to my room as soon as its built untill i move out next month. Also i'm ordering an Apple 20" studio display next week, so desk space isn't gonna be a problem.![]()

My mistake, but yeah, apple offers the only resonably priced widescreen displays. Samsung made a 17" widescreen, but its been discontinued. And i will be applying my student discount and also financing the Apple display. ![]() Also... Looks like someone at Zalman missed a meeting, their own stuff doesn't even fit together right.

| Hmm, well, everything seems to be working, having a spot of trouble with dual monitors, it BSODs if i try to set the second monitor above 640x480, also, every time i click on tv, the screen does a little flash like its opening a program, but nothing opens. Probably all driver issues, so i may have to uninstall and reinstall all the crazy AIW drivers... ![]() | ||
