I think I caused this thread to be born cuz i was all being worried about posting an unfinished case without getting my balls chewed off. anyways, sloppy seconds for me. (2nd thread)

I took an old HP Pavillion 6650 from like 3 years ago (yeah its a celeron 466) and then tronsported the innards to the new case I bought.

a-top.com sells my case as the 901 series or something like that.

anyhow the PSU was a big pain in the cooter cuz the cords are obviously made for the minicase that HP's are shipped in.
thus I have no active floppy drive, but thats ok!

anyways here it is when i just tossed everything in.
mind you the only thing ive done with this case is put the fans and cables in. no actual "mods" yet.

As you can see, I did a little wire cleanup, other than that i have no more money or parts to toss into this thing just yet. give me a bit of time.. slowly this will become the bad beast I want it to be.

I think this forum is a great idea, so don't feel bad.

If you are interested I will let you know how it turns out. I think the stuff looks good and comes in many colors. Make sure you look at all the selections color options as not all come in a variety of colors. The third selection down shows about 2 dozen colors.

Thats a pretty cool link, theres so many kinds though, I wouldnt know where to start. I think i will wait to gt the key compnents of my sytems shipped to me (such as the PSU, Motherboard, etc..) before I start worrying about making it too tidy or anything.

I have come to the conclusion that I hate rounded cables. When the bottoms twist like they do in your case it makes it look bad. I took all my rounded cables out of my main two rigs and replaced them with 80 pin cables. Much neater, and with the proper folding they are barely noticable.

well besides the wire care that hojo already mentioned, i would take a freken air duster to that thing! Not only is the dust bad for your PC, but it just doesnt look pimp.
