Looking for that special Motherboard

Does anyone know of a company that makes a Dual AMD MP motherboard with an 8x AGP slot.

I currently have a older Tyan board with Dual AMD 1400 MP processors.

I'd like to upgrade to the AMD MP 2800 (Dual), but I also want to put a top of the line Graphics card on it.

I've seen plenty of Dual Processor motherboards for AMD, but they all have 2-4x AGP slots.

I have yet to see one that supports 8x AGP but that is not to say they don't exist. I did do quite a bit of searching with no luck. If you step up to Opterons though there are solutions there such as the Tyan Tiger (or Thunder) K8W.

Dont think its been done yet due to the fact that most people that own a dual proc.. board are not using it for gaming.

Doesnt MSI? I could be rong but I could swear my friend had a dual mp2400+ systeme with a 9700Pro, it was some sort of red MSI board....

Tycoon, the link you posted has boards that only support AGP Pro 4x.... not 8x

There are no Dual Athlon AGP 8x boards, as there has not been a new revision to this chipset since late 2001 I believe. You can use an 8x card running in 4x mode but thats about it. I am personally running a FX5900SE in mine and it kicks much arse.

Thanks for all the help..... Looks like I need to make a decision, Dual Processors or perhaps just move to a 64.
