Right well with only 3 weeks to go untill the weekend of many activities, things are looking up. The suttle system I proposed on my first thread is now in flesh and blood, seen here merrily chomping on XPSP1:




Specs are:
-Duron 1600 (266,64)
-128 Kingston CL2.5 2100
-SavagePro 32mb (Dare I say it) Onboard
-40 Gb Western Digital
-52x CD
-Floppy

All in all a plesent little system, all be it a little low on the ram ladder.

This including THE BOX will be on display for 1hour a time, switching over due to limited power. I have little nibbles for sale including pen drives, optical mice, 2 adsl modems (USB and PCI), And 2 rebuilt rigs from part exchanges. Flyers( posters) have been printed out by their 100s, and if my printer had a milometre, it would have re-clocked about 3 times by now.

JE's suggested gazeebo (gay zeebra ) has been bought, photo coming shortly. This will take the sunlight off the systems, but being in there today after setting it up posed a problem....especially with temperatures. If there is no wind, theres a problem. Its like an oven in there, and will no doubt have ASUS probe reporting temperatures in the mid 50's if not 60's. However the systems will only be on for an hour at a time, so it may be saved yet. As for monitor and display, my 19" Liyama (furry creature with long neck) will do the nVidia demos, games and general mish mash of what people want to see.

How about tumble drier vent hose? Fit one end to the pc inlet, the other end somewhere in the shade outside the gay zebra. Might help those temps.
