Ok so it's father's day and I'm going to start my first real "hardcore" work on a case. My dad is a HUGE fan of Homer. I've got this spare case laying here, so why not go for gold and give him something he will never forget. I'm starting with an Aero Cool Aero Jet Jr. case I picked many a year ago.

With this build everything has to be BIG, tiny details here won't matter. Yes, you guys will appreciate my OCD-like attention to detail, but my dad is legally blind and won't see them.

I guess the first step for me is posting this so i'll keep to it, keep in mind i work about 60 hours a week for...pennies over minimum. This build will take atleast the summer, if not longer.

I have 2 years of auto body training and have done many, many cars so just sit back and enjoy the show! Any tips are extremely welcome.

boss stuck me with a double today...as my shift was ending, so no updates tonight. tomorrow bright and early i'm going to get my order in at frozen and start the disassembly.

unfortunately during another one of my random doubles, i was smoked in the ankle and rag-dolled by a first-time driver and my ankle has been...for lack of a better word...shattered. pins,metal,casts, surgery SUPPPPPPER, but i'm out of the worst of it so as soon as i find my camera and remember my order for frozen i'll get to the modding!

p.s. i work at a gokart track in the summer, incase i didn't mention it before

here's the planned order, i'm earning some extra cash by reffing some paintball events, so i'll put it in next week and then get some picks of the case and a special little piece i've got in mind to put on it



got the idea for the clear fans with uv paint from the "modding on the cheap" project, i'm doing it more because i don't want alot of lights on the case, so all my hard work can be easily shut off for the blind guy(aka DAD)
