| Alright here are some pics from the beginning.. Here Is the front Bezel before alot of sanding and painting, in the back is the left, top and, right side, not to shabby... BTW they are all separate pieces now.. ![]() Here is the back, this is the start of the rear 60mm fans makes good cross-flow accross the Heatsink ![]() Here is the front inside, this is actually the opposite side inline with ^^ like I said good cross flow, notice I molded in a old 80mm fan shell works good to give a little space between the fan and the filter (which I did on all my intake fans..reduces dust greatly which is needed since this is a negative pressure case.. ![]() | ||

| Here is a close up of that front bezel, I measured, and cut a piece of pvc to fit then glued it with model glue overnight then proceeded to bondo and sand it.. ![]() Here's after sanding it for day's literally, lol and then primer then paint and clear ![]() Here is the top which I had to cut out to fit the 3 fans, and the back which I had to cut out to fit the second powersupply... ![]() There was alot of filler involved with this case, and i did my best to fill every leak (useless hole) | ||

| The second Power supply is held in with a custom plate I made from some spare Aluminum I had laying around and copied off of the other hole, them I cut it out and riveted it in... Here is a shot of the back back of the case, ![]() IK it's not perfect but It is not really a area that was my greatest concern, as I had already spent way too much time on the front and cutting out holes for the fans, which I must say was a bitch, considering this case is 1/4'' steel and ate through a side grinder blade like nothing, and metal shards suck to clean out of your arm.. Here Is a shot of the front done, ![]() please ignore the red thing, that is just the bottom of the fan controller board, I have a DVD burner drive stealthed in that spot now... Here Is the top, ![]() Notice My fans are florescent Green, thats what i painted all of my black fans to give them a little unique look.. and the bolts on the top gave it that overbuilt look.. although they are infact holding the top on.. but I think a nice touch | ||

| Well here is the case on my desk, ![]() it darwfs my 19'' crt. Thats why I love this thing so much room. O and excuse the mess lol Here is the heatsink in my case, ![]() see how it all fits so well... IK Ik good planing... ![]() Here is the Wire mess in the back, ![]() god and you think one power supply is alot of wires (IK IK modular would have been the way to go but hey works for me) O and the secondary PS turns on with the main b/c of the relay I installed. Wiring literally took an hour by itself BTW. | ||

| In the last post take notice to the led strip I made, I actually made 2 of these there UV leds to enhance the looks, I also have 4 UV cold cathlodes.. here is the Money shots in the dark. The inside ![]() The Front fan.. which is actually more blue... ![]() The side ![]() belive it or not that bright blue thing is my video card lol and thats all UV there are no lights on that thing.. actually all the fans are UV lit except for the front 2 Last edited by PCgEeK321; 28-March-08 at 01:22 AM. | ||

| Here is another shot of the video card ![]() a shot down the middle top fan, I thought that wire loom came out good ![]() A shot with the computer on and the lights on just to give you a overall look ![]() One thing I wish I did was, take a picture of my custom hard drive rack I made out of a old Floppy 5.25'' adapter and an old 3.5'' 3 hard drive mount in an old case O and encase your wandering it's not that loud with all the fans running full blast, the only one you really hear is the one 80mm mounted in the front up above the front intake...That's why I prefer 120mm fans over 80mm fan's Please feel free to comment I would love some feedback, suggestions..etc | ||

| First off, massive props for that front turbine, it’s obvious you took a lot of care there – apart from the lack of finger guardage, it could have come out of a factory that way However … If you’re happy with the standard of finish, then great … but I wouldn’t be, and I don’t think most people would be either. Was this your first mod? If so, then getting overtaken by the urge to get it all together is understandable, up to a point. By way of constructive criticism, here’s a quick list of what I’d be looking to address, if this was my project: The case base square – either filling it flush, or at least putting a badge in there; Baybus switches – finding something a bit more attractive than the cheapest 2 way jobs I could find (I may be able to find you something a bit nicer, let me get back to you on that); The 2nd PSU panel – ally & rivets fine … slapping paint (?) on with a trowel … not. Top panel bolts – loosing the multiple washers & using something a bit more attractive than regular set screws, maybe acorn or pike nuts; It’s a bit late now for the fan bolts on the top panel, but for the future, tacking on bolts on the inside is a lot neater than drilling holes out of square; I’m not sure about the directions of the fans either – it seems to me you’ll have far more suck than blow there; | ||

| ... Loosing the edging strip round the fan apertures … and especially on the window – that s-strip is _very_ year 2000-2002, neat cuts & finishing & adhesive is the way to go, IMO; More (& custom?) fan grilles; Doing something about those external 80mm fans – if they won’t go inside, then dress them up somehow – you’re obviously handy with the bondo, so maybe that’s the answer, but I suspect you could loose them completely – less is more when it comes to fans (check out the windfarm I made in gallery, I thinks it’s a phase a lot of us go through )Needs a theme – I’ve done this too – sometimes a little theming gives a much better result than having a great looking collection of bits … I don’t have any suggestions other than a bit of colour, maybe some stripes, and window engraving/applique that you could echo on the grilles … Wiring – I can see you’ve done some hiding, but there’s a lot of sleeving & tidying that could be done there ![]() Sorry about the double post... something's afoot, and I'm not just talking about my wang ![]() | ||

| O srry Im in patient lol not really, I was just excited to see what people would think, This in fact was my first big mod. First of all thanks for the comments and criticisms like i said I am open for all..etc I do agree on some of the things like the back paint not looking good around the top PSU, but that infact is not paint... It's actually a black silicone, I put it on in there to prevent vibration and It didn't spread as good as I liked but in person you don't actually see it as well the camera helps to bring it out... secondly on the wiring I also agree it could be better but as far as the window goes you don't really see it... the actual wires are cleaner now and they are ran through the back... IK the rubber gasket stuff is old school but it's all I had at the time and it definatly makes a huge difference in the overall look of the case. I agree that a them would be better with grills and all that and the fans being on the inside (BTW the top side fan is a 120mm blowing out and the bottom side fan is blowing in) but they don't fit as of right now do to my heatsink (which is gonna change B/c I putting together a custom watercooling set up.. jut got ahold of a Danger Den RBX waterblock.) I however must mention a few things.. I Know less fans may benefit it, But I did this case just to prove a point for one of my friends.. He thought it would be loud. (which I think I'm going to get a DB meter and tape a clip so I can show some ppl it's not.) As for the front, I'm looking to get a Badge just haven't decided, and I like the bays there where i can take them out if I need to get to something.. way more convenient, as well as the gap around the fan intake bezel- that gap allows air to get into the 80mm fan which flows strait across my Ram and Processor heat sink.. ![]() I through this simple little diagram together in a couple min. to give you my idea of why I set the fans up like i did.. introduce cool, fresh air into the bottom and then get rid of it, and create a strong negative pressure at the top... | ||
