I'm starting my first mod but it'll take me a while to get it going. I still want a few things (modders mesh, acrylic, paint, and other stuff) but have no money. But i can still get a start with what I got.

Do you have a idea on what your gonna do to the case yet? windows, Designs, cooling etc.?

I'm still ironing out the details on what i'm going to do. I will cut a window in the top and i'm still working on a side window design. im also working on a bracket to hold a 120mm fan near the bottom corner to vent air out from the 8800gt cause i plan on a second one. But after seaching the forums here I've decided not to use dupli-colors metalcast paint.

Quick question has anyone used Dupli-colors mirage paint and what did you think?

Well I figured out what I wanted my case to look like and am going with an ice theme. I ordered some acrylic icicles and a few other things. Heres what ive done so far.


I cut and bondoed the front bezel


My top window


Cut out for the 120mm fan and the perforated vent (still need to clean them up a bit)


Got it mostly taken apart


And a few more parts to dress it up a little. I really like the look of those aluminum case feet.

I hope by this weekend to get to work on taking it apart the rest of the way and sanding it down so I can prime it for paint.

This might turn out interesting...
