Ok, Ok I know guys, Yet ANOTHER worklog....

Well, it's the beginning of my first ever adventure into water cooling
And I also wanted a nice case to showcase the Asus P5N-E that Slaymate very kindly bought for me

So this is not going to be full of pictures of case mods. more on the lines of getting the loop just right and the lighting/cable routing etc aspect will pay a big role in this project.
As of now I still need a hell of a lot of hardware let alone the w/c setup so here's some pics of the start of a refreshing new build for me...

Haven't got a clue yet Bro as I'm really new to watercooling!
I'm guessing a good start would be a good cpu block, s/b block ( i have a thermalright n/b cooler Dex gave me that i'ld like to use... ), and From there I really don't know lol!!
I was maybe thinking Zalman blocks/black ice rad/custom res??/ not sure which make tubing/pump etc...

Although I'll be getting a dually for the p5n-e I will at some point in the future be upgrading to a quadcore. ( its a 775 btw )
And I'm not sure on Graphics yet - sli/not sli etc

I know the feeling. I'm on my first mod and water cooling trip. It took me ages to choose what blocks and bits to get, with web searches and reviews etc. Then to find one doesn't take the right barbs for you tubing you have to search all over again.

The only hint I can give is to always check the bargain bins at the E-tailers.

I have a collection of water blocks sitting on my shelf, when you decide on a mobo let me know and if I have one that fits we can make a deal.

DN, Thanks bro!! I'll be using the Asus P5N-E shown in the images. it's a socket 775.

Have been looking around for some "StopGap" Hardware so I can get this rig up'n'running.
Next few months will see this lot being ordered, however, I can't make my mind up between the ram... Both are within my budget but I'm not sure which would be the better performer.
I'm guessing the corsair twin but I'm sure one of you can set me right!
Don't forget the cpu and gpu are temporary until I have the finances to upgrade.
Hence I will only get a cpu block until I'm 100% decided on which SLi cards I will be using.
I also purchased two Antec LED TRIcool ( 3speed ) 80mm blue led fans. ( stil need to get some grills )

I've got a chrome PolarFLO TT CPU block that would fit that board. Also a Danger Den TDX, but you would need a new top since it is setup for a Socket 478. If you are interested in either let me know.

This Everglide Titan Monster Gaming Mat feels awesome! I'm gonna have a go at Hl2 Deathmatch in a mo to see how much better my aim is.
Great response and just enough feedback. The things a monstor, I had to re-arrange my workspace just to accomodate it lol

I have removed the Philips lcd and now have the p4 and X2 both running off the Samsung 20"
to give me more room...

I decided to start installing some hardware tonight.

So what's next?
P4 Prescott 3.0Ghz on route from over the pond.
The HIS Radeon card is coming on around the 6th march ( the cpu/gpu are to be used until Christmas when I upgrade to the Quady and 8800gts, or whatever is best by then! )

Then I will be sourcing the Rad/Pump/Cpu block/Tubing....
