Acrylic case project TEASER!

Well a few years ago I started this project. Along the way I learned alot but also I did a few things I wish I did better. My biggest mistake was probably not having a blueprint to work from.

Then when I was almost done with it.. I was discouraged. It just didn't turn out the way I wanted.

And jdogg sealed it's fate by calling it a RICER....

so I took it apart and stored it.

Well.. I pulled the case out of the closet. It was filthy, 2+ years in storage.. so....

dishwasher ftw!!

Now... I'm still working out the plans, but it involves this.......

Frag a few of them polyps and send them my way....hahahaa

Lighting ? and flow? and filter....what you using in that small box? Doesnt look like a nanocube....

I got some xenia if you wanna use that...

well.. i'm thinking more along the lines of a nanoreef tank inside the pc.

Cutting up the removable acrylic drive cage a little. I've done tons of research already about temps and water chemistry and it might work out. I have a 120g reef I can frag from for the project.. so you have a reef tank dw?

Yeah mines just a 55g though...lol
but its doing well....includes some pretty kick ass fish in it too...
post up some pics of yours...ill go take some tonight,

An underwater theme?
Though I can imagine acrylic cases require a lot of work usually they're not my cup of tea. This, however, could work out great.
I'll stay tuned if you keep us posted.
