More shots of the Alien toggle switch. The black plate was milled from 6061 aircraft aluminum and painted Matte Black with SEM self-etching primer. The translucent green acrylic plates were also milled.

The rear corner of the Qmicra v2 seemed like a good location for what I'll refer to as our "Monster" custom toggle switch. It controls the Green CC light inside

Dave Lalopa wanted a airbrush theme based on the dark theme of these futuristic corridor images..

The case has SOLD. It sold less than 3 days after being posted.

Only thing I didnt like was ........................ You put that slick azz toggle in the back. Something like that needs to be in the front .

Maybe to make it not stick out so far use one of the buttons with the same cool plexi steps

That switch is BIG bro.. It looked wacky on the front tbh.. I'm calling it my Monster Switch. I'm having a handful or more made and will post them for sale if anyones interested

The engraved S represents electricity bolt for PWR-ON, while // represent GROUND

We made more of green "Monster Switchs" used on the Sci-Fi theme Qmicra and posted them in my case mod store

Lin airbrushed these Flames on the Qmicrav2 Hot Rod last Friday night. It will be clearcoated and reassembled before returning back to PCDesignLab and for sale.

I'll post more pics during it's re-assembly!

I squeeked some time in last night to work this project. I've been so focused on the AMD Phenom Project, it's been hard to pull myself away from that.

Theres still a lot more assembly left on this one, but I installed the window





and heres the 120mm exhaust fan.. The Fan is by Apevia, heres the factory spec page... I don't recall when I bought it from, sorry.. It's dark orange plastic, so I was a bit skeptical about being Red when it's illuiminated, but I pleasently surprised.. and it's fairly quiet too. Even Dave liked it, and hes very adamant about having a quiet system



Installing Mnpctech's Fan Mounting Silencing Grommets for .39 each

Final pics of the Hot Rod version case before it returns to Dave Lalopa at PCDesignlab for the system install. I'll post pics as soon as i get them from Dave. I've also got a video in the works of a preliminary system install in this case while he was here.. You have to see it to believe how well this thing was engineered. I was contacted by Custom PC Magazine about the possibility of a feature article on the two systems in early 2008. I know Daves been chomping at the bit to get his cases published in the UK
