Hey everyone.How it is been?? IT has been awhile since a posted something.I am in a truck club and i have been busy working on my truck and everything.Well it is time to get back into modding.What i have plan is switch cases from my Full Server case to a sunbeam acrylic UFO cube case.I dont have the case yet i am waiting on it to come in.But i have sleeved the psu with uv green and changed the molex connectors to uv green ones.The case takes two 120mm fans which will be clear with green leds in it.I got two black Biohazard fan grills that i have painted green.I really dont have a name for it yet.But the theme is Biohazard and green with green and white lights.I have a few pictures of what i have got done so far,plus i got a picture of what the case looks like.Tell me what yall think so far and give me some ideas.Ill keep yall updated when i get more stuff done.I hope yall like.

That red PCB for the audio/control panel is going to stick out like a sore thumb...got any plans for that?

As for the pcb, How about a DragonModz Shop custom pcb or make a 'shroud' with some of mnpctech.com 's modders mesh?
That could certainly do the trick!

Saying that Coel, once the rest of the hardware is installed would it not be so prominent?!

I think if the PCB was the usual green color, it would blend in nicely with the color scheme you're going for. Unfortunately it's bright red, so unless the color scheme was a christmas-y blend of green and red (like my μ-Blaze case), it won't work so well. The idea of a green or silver-colored external plate or shroud with holes cut for the audio/USB, etc. ports is a good one.

Yeh I missed that lol! so the shroud idea or custom pcb would work better!
I know mad mod man will do an exellent job as I have seen one of his modz on voidedwarranty and I must say you did a grand job dude!
I definately like this case, it's a good platform for modding plus it kinda looks like an enclosed torture rack if i'm not mistaken?!

as for as the shroud i am going to use some thin metal that i have here.I am getting my case this wed. And i am about to repaint the fan grilles to a color that almost matches the psu case.Some one else on another forum gave me the idea about painting the fan grilles to match the psu.So that is what i am going to do.

Krylon makes a transparent paint line called "Stained Glass", which you can use to paint over clear acrylic, and it will give it a color that's see-through. If your fan grilles are acrylic, that paint would look Mahhh-velous.

I like it but like already stated that PCB really sticks out alot. I'd get a custom one made from Twizted of DragonModz.net or possibly get the schematic, go to radioshack and get the PCB making kit and try to make one on your own.

No the fan grilles are not acrylic they are metal.I couldnt find any 120mm acrylic fan grilles that i liked.

as far as the pcb goes i am going to make a shroud out of metal and the color that i am about to paint the fan grilles with i am going to paint the cover that color.The color almost matches the psu case.

well i finally got the case and a few other things into.I am almost done but i am stopping for now it is 3am.I got the case put together and most of the parts in.I still need to do some wire management,add my lights, and put back the side and top pannel.I havent been able to paint the fan grilles because the weather hasnt been good here.So here are some pictures as of what i got done so far.Tell me what yall think.I am not going to out a shroud or anything around the pcb since my mobo is red to so it kinda matchs.

That's a pretty slick little box you got there, I like it. I would paint the I/O panel to match the theme though, maybe even a candy coat, if you haven't done any dremelling to it. Would look nice. Other than that, can't wait to see it with proper cable management, nice work. Any plans for etching those big, beautiful blank spaces of acrylic?

well i got a small update.I got all the parts in and the top on and all the lights in.The only thing left to do is clean up all the wires,put some clear case feet that has blue leds which i am going to change to green and i have a clear handle with green leds in it.and put the side pannel on and ill be done.I think unless i want to add some more stuff or change some things.Ill yep yall updated.I am planning on painting the I/O pannel the same color as the fan grilles when i paint the grilles.Waiting on the weather to clear up.

Well i am like almost done.I got most of the wires cleaned up but i sill want to try to make the wires look cleaner but it is kinda hard to do that with a clear case.But here are some pictures tell me what yall think.

hey how is everyone doing today.I just wanted to post some pictures of the computer set up on my desk.I also put two Biohazard stickes on the case one on the top and the other one on the side.Hopefully tomorrow i can paint my two Biohazard fan grilles.Well i hope yall like the pictures.Tell me what yall thinks.

Its GREEN!!!! Just an ideal , you should paint that optical drive it stands out .

I've always wondered but never seen one, can you get plexi covers to replace a cd drives panels? or make one up. Now that would be different and unique!
