Default Gas Prices - report in

I just filled up @ $2.40 (3 cent off coupon w00t) for a $23 fill up on my Protege. What are you guys paying these days?

Last years thread about gas prices had me complaining about $2.03.

The funny thing is the 2nd gen Probe GT's were a huge improvement over the first-gens and had a neat little feature called VRIS, works like VTEC but with the intake manifold and not valve timing.

2nd-gen GT's get great gas mileage, until VRIS solenoid #2 opened. And if you have a ZE swap.....oh man.....

Makes me glad I got a 5-speed

My car requires 93 octane, that's what I have to use without suffering performance issues. Filled up yesterday @ $2.75/gal. Yeesh.

I only have a 13.5 gallon tank to fill and it's hurting. I couldn't imagine have to fill up one of those Truck/SUVs with a 20+ gallon tank.

Dropped to 2.48 today, I'm pretty sure.

I'd ride to school everyday... if it wasn't a 30 mile ride on an interstate over a bridge. Oh well. My Civic's the next best thing (34 MPG woot!)

$2.59 for Plus at the Priceville RaceWay (RaceTrak) which means anything else is $.20 more expensive.

You know, that hydraulic proof-of-concept engine/brake system I saw earlier today (video) is looking far more enticing.

I'm with randy. I'll do it. Sh*t I rode to work today, and I ride 12 miles to work.

As soon as gas hits 3$ a gallon we should all go out and buy Sting-Ray choppers and ride them to work.
