It's a 93 Probe GT. 2.5l KL03 V6, 5-speed, has an ACT Stage 2 Clutch and an Unorthodox Racing flywheel, new tranny, complete motor rebuild at 85k miles and 15k on the current build, has exhaust kit on it, and needs a:

Front GT bumper
HEI mod
Stickshift knob
Probe wheels. The Altima wheels on it are too big and will need spacers. They look cool but I don't like having Nissan wheels on my Probe, so I might get a set of chrome "swirlies" off a 97GT from a member in our club.

Other than that, it will need new paint and a little body work but 95% of this is stuff I can do myself.

Not yet. I'll probably be giving it to my little brother, although I would rather it go to one of the guys in our club.

Originally this car was boosted, then he took off the turbo and sprayed it with a 50 shot and was running 14.4's.

Then he blew a head gasket on the 6th run at the local track, then 3rd gear went boom and so did his clutch so he decided to completely rebuild the motor with new bearings and gaskets, pistons, it's basically a whole new motor. Since the rebuild it has been N/A. I won't be spraying but I might boost it, but nothign major, these little 2.5's run fast as hell on 6 and 8 PSI. anything over 10 especially on j-spec KLZE motors is asking for a blown motor.

So 90k on the motor? Not bad. Looks like the front end was in an accident, hence the unmatched fenders, hood and missing bumper. How much did it set you back?

The car is actually a 94 and it set me back 500. I'ma give it the TLC it needs and make it into the nice car it once was.

It's got a hell of an exhaust note, if I hadn't known any better I would have thought it had a Ferrari motor in it. It definitely has the raspy tone typically heard in a Ferrari. Too bad it's 167hp / 2900lb.

Is this a UK remodel, or a later mk of the American Probe? Differences?

Those taillights and clear corners on the front bumper are euro specific. not just UK, germany, france, all of europe. the US cars dont have them and if they do it's aftermarket.

Thats why Probes stock are so slow....

Now throw a Garrett T3 and a Tial wastegate on there and you got a damn fast car

there's a guy in our club with a similar setup on his MX-6 running like 14.7 in the 1/4 mile.

Cpt. were you hbere in FL by any chance? I have seen that car in traffic. it's the gayest Probe I have ever seen. even gayer than my 1st-gen.

what's sad is it's a base and my first-gen would rape it.
