I saw this about a 6 months ago, and I'm still wondering this: why? The NSX is a beautiful and expensive car as it is.

Nuttin new here. I still to this day say they just made a faster, sexier version of my fiero. The similarities between the Fiero and NSX are amazing.

Nice glass work, but way too much time on their hands.

I made my whole bezel on my dragon case pretty much from scratch and I know how hard it is to do something like this (I used bondo not fiberglass but same diff) , and their's turned out awsome (and they did a whole car, not just a bezel )

No really. I have seen pics of a NSX stripped down to bare chassis and you would be amazed by the similarities of the two chassis. Like i said the NSX is a faster updated version.

Instead of a heavy lump of fiberglass, you should use replacement body panels and stuff, check these:

while thats true, its not as expensive or beautiful as a ferari imo. i LOVE ferrari that company does no wrong, enzo's sh!t didnt stink either. dont get me wrong i like nsx's, but not as much as any ferrari (except for some of the 80's and late 70's models that were kinda uneventful). its especially cool that they didnt make it into just any ferrari, they made it into an f50, so as far as all the people who see them on the road are concerned, they went from an 85,000$ car to a 650,000$ car.

alas, its not a real ferrari so its not the same no matter what it looks like. it still wont have the sound, the feel, the passion that only a genuine italian car can deliver. but i suppose i can still respect the skill that went into making the project

Wow, I would just about die for one of those. I know someone who has one arond here. (Brooks and Dunn...Not sure if you know them but hey huge artist and they live a few blocks away.

Anywhoo, my good friend Wayne is friends with Brooks son Eric...and his dad of course has a nice collection of kick ass cars. One...being a 2004 Ferarri 360 Modena, red, hand stiched leather. I believe it was a litte over 200 thousand to have it orders, built, and shipped.

That was a good read. Enjoyed looking at what people can accomplish. Now, how to covert my Honda Accord into a Subaru WRX...anyone up for it!?

how bout a fiero into a fiero/NSX/vette/camaro/porsche/caddy/firebird mutant thingy yeah thats right, this thing is stretched 11 inches, has a longitudinally mounted caddy northstar v8 mated to a flipped porsche transaxle, rides on c5 vette rear suspension and c4 vette brakes, has a firebird dash and rear wing, has rear glass from a camaro, and resembles an NSX. i spent hours reading this guys work log....

All in all Its was a great car that they hack up and made it somewhat look like a Ferrari. But what took the toll for this? How much weight was added to the car? What performance loss did that NSX take? The 05' 3.2 NSX from the factory puts out 290HP (A respectable number but not great for a super-car) at 7100 RPM, something like that. Now it weighs 3100lbs and some change. ThatÂ’s a power to weight ratio of about 10:1 10lbs to 1hp. 60's muscle cars tried to make the 13 lbs to 1Hp. They could have offset the delicate ratio that this car depends and was designed around. Yeah it looks good, but can you still beat the piss out of it? I don't know if I would.

Amazing body work but when it comes to something like this a body kit is the safest bet. Yeah they did it and it looks amazing, all the props to them, but when it comes down to it I wouldnt buy that if I had the money. If I wanted an NSX to be able to drive on land and water I would call these guys, otherwise I'll stick to a "pre-mod" kit.

I'm a big fan of both the NSX, and the F50, but I would rather have a real NSX, than a fake F50.

Reminds me of a while back, when my wife and I were dating. We were out yardsaling with her mom, and went to this one house. All the stuff was out in the driveway, but the garage door was halfway open. I looked under the door and saw to Diablos sitting in the garage. Turns out they were fieros with kits on them, still very sexy though.

I think your missing the point of doing a project like that.................He, on his own did the mod, did all the fab-work.................

It would be like you going out and buying a pre-fab case and calling it a mod.............I appreciate all the hard work and diligance in this kind of mod.............the same with all the others here who putt in time and energy to create something unique............

I do admit those guys can use glass like i can only imagen. That was a huge project and I do respect the the work they did. Just personaly even If i had the money to do that type of work to an 80 thousand dollar car I doubt I would. Maybe some preformence add-ons.
