it a 2005 scion xb. and i am pimpin it out. i have led underbody lights that change color and also run in patterns. also i have lighted the cup holders green and have color changing led lighting inside too. more to do as i get the cash.

i have hub caps that light up with leds. and they create a pattern while driving.

Be careful with those tireflys. I received some free ones from Hot Import Nights. I put them on my sister's car and I can't get one of them to come off which is a pain because I need to put more air in her tires.

Overall, I think tireflys are rated RICE.

My definition of a ricer is All Show No Go or All Bottle No Throttle. Hes actually makin perfomance mods. So what if he adds a few little things to make it look nicer. That doesnt make him a ricer. Hell atleast he didnt put a soup can on the thing and call it a muffler and say he pimped it out.

I wasn't calling you guys rice. I was just saying the tireflys are rice. They are a cheap accessory that produces light when your tires spin (no performance gain and they look aweful during the day). Kind of reminds me when I put baseball cards in the spikes of my bicycle when I was 6 yrs old because it made an "awesome" noise. Thinking about it...I don't see any kids doing that anymore. What happened to the youth today???

My point is, I thought they were cool at first, but the appeal died quickly. Oh yeah.. and they attract cops

Nice shots, Duc. I'm not running any in my truck right now, but I'm kind of a StreetGlow freak. One thing that looks cool in the right spot is some plexi with a reverse vinyl graphic on the back. Spray it all with your favorite UV paint , and toss in some StreetGlow blacklights. Of course, PC cathodes work great on the interior, too. 12V all around! Good luck!

I remember the first time I saw the Scion at a Toyota dealership while I was drooling on a Tundra...

The salesman explained that the Scion was designed to appeal to a 14 y/o demographic. When I mentioned that a 14 y/o isn't old enough to drive, he said,"No, but they are old enough to start begging their folks to buy them one"...

I found that funny.

Although the mods done to both those Scions would be ruined within minutes around here after the first washboard gravel road you hit, I do have appreciation for the craftsmanship. The car itself reminds me a bit of an old Subaru Sambar released in 1961, but never in the US.



There are more modern versions that look even more similar to the Scion, but still with motors too small for the American market (typically under 1300cc...for a 7 passenger car!).

ZENNZ, only YOU could fill an entire Scion with a cooling system that chills a Pentium II pushin' Pac-Man a 7" in-dash LCD...hahahaha...you know we love ya', man!

I'm can't really dig the xBs. The xA or the TCs look nice, I think. This guy I know has one, he was one of the first people in the area to have one. It's silver and sitting on 20s, with three TVs (one in dash, one in each headrest), and a crazy sound system. It doesn't look bad, persay...I just can't get over the whole they-look-so-much-like-a-box-it's-crazy thing! roflmao

Anyway, a vehicle is a vehicle, and I applaud anyone for stepping out of the stock genre and trying to do something different and unique, especially with Imported cars.
