| Well I am not sure what to feel right now..On the way home from getting my sister from work....I was trucking down the road in my Caddy when a HUGE tan and white boxer just darts in the road...Left me little time to hit the brakes...I hit the dog pretty hard at about 35-40 mph....With a 4000 Pound car.... The dog flew up and landed upside down in front of the car....got up and ran off.....Not before leaving behind a few internal parts though...;( I don't imagine it got far....Probably in shock somewhere and passed on by the time I make this post. You can tell from the damage to the car that I hit it pretty hard....I am pretty upset at the damage ...but not quite as upset as the little kid thats missing a family pet now...;( Or the loved one that lost part of their family...I guess call me a puss if you want..But It shakes me up when crap happens llke this..I know how I would feel if it was my dog.... Im sure I can get a new grill... and the damage isn't un repairable with just a few minor parts...No real bodywork to do.... I looked for the dog...but it was nowhere to be found... I hate it when $hit like this happens... Digi ![]() | ||

Yeah I don't think size matters on the kill....But the part of the family pet just makes it hard for me to put away.... Hell I found the grill on Ebay for 25 bucks and shipping.... But the dog.... Ughhhhhhhh Why couldn't the owners just not let him run out by the road.... This is why I have small indoor dogs.... BIg dogs are hard to care for unless you got some nice real estate....

| Direct Cool Hoe | as hard assed as this sounds... I'd like to find the owner and remind him that his lack of proper restraint on his boxer, one; could have caused alot of humans serious injuries and two; caused unessasary pain to the animal, no fault to Digi, of course. As big as this Boxer was, it and it's owner, should have already been trained. Dogs gotta know that fokin with moving cars, gives you brain damage. | |

That's a horrible justification. Ok, Ok, let me think of a better one......Got it! Just remember that the dog choose the road DigitalWorld was on with his own free will-- --He pretty muched asked for it. No that's horrible too. Ah well, it really sucks bigtime for the owner, I lost my black lab to a UPS truck when I was growing up, never quite healed from that event...
