| Apex Techie Wannabe | I'm very inexperienced with car audio. My amp is nothing fancy, a Lightning LA1.150.2 But I would like to know what type of 8" subs I should buy so that I am not over powering them or underpowering them. It says that the RMS is 50 watts x 2 @ 4 ohms. I'm guessing that it is not so powerful. So what type of subs should I buy? Thanks in advance for any help. | |

| i would buy subs that can handle at least 600 watts max, because they are usually ~150watts rms. they shoudl work fine, some good sub brands are alpine, phoenix gold, and infinity. there are quite a few more brands....check out this site, they have many "odd" brands but a few well known ones. cheap too ;-) http://www.justwoofers.com | ||
